Whilst MSC sits under Perth, we are not directly funded by them. This means that we are required to source funding; supply materials; training; upskilling to retain our volunteers.
Being a self funded organisation, (NOT government supported) we rely on the generous support of our community through donations/fundraisers & grants. Grants are fabulous but as you know they are not promised and may take time to come through.
With that said, MSC is proud to acknowledge the 3 year partnership grant that we have recently sourced with CoM and financial basis this gives us to assist us with moving forward. In addition, MSC has submitted a Community Crime Prevention grant with WA Police Department. Applications have closed....we're awaiting decisions.
